Asparague season is kicking off at the InterContinental Dublin, with a special seasonal menu set to run for the month of May focusing on home grown Irish asparagus.

InterContinental Dublin’s Executive Chef, Alberto Rossi, is making the most of asparagus season in Ireland (which runs for quite a short time, from May until June) with the addition of green asparagus sourced from Drummond House in Baltray, Co. Louth, as well as white and purple asparagus from the Wye Valley near Herefordshire in England, to the hotel’s seasonal menus.

Guests can choose from dishes such as white asparagus and garlic with velouté, asparagus spears, confit egg yolk and Drummond House elephant garlic; Drummond House green asparagus with burrata, truffle and tarragon dressing, and broiled monkfish with asparagus and vinaigrette.

The special asparagus menu will be available from 1st – 31st May in Seasons Restaurant and the Lobby Lounge at InterContinental Dublin, with dishes starting at €8.
