This Mother’s Day, Dublin’s Opium is hosting an afternoon tea experience inspired by the flavours of the east.

Head Chef, Philip Hughes, has curated a menu of sweet and savoury bites with asn Asian flare. Menu highlights include a rare breed Irish pork gyoza with water chestnut, ginger, scallion, black vinegar and sweet soy, as well as a steamed king prawn Har Gow with bamboo shoot, coriander and scallion. Sweet treats include a passion fruit & lychee panna cotta with bourbon vanilla coconut cream, and a Macau influenced custard tart encased in a puff pastry.

The experience also includes a selection of Asian teas, as well as an option to add Moët & Chandon champagne.

Hosted in Opium’s Botanical Garden, tickets are priced at €28pp and are available via Eventbrite.
