Mescan Brewery on the slopes of Croagh Patrick has come up with a novel idea to cheer up customers with the prospect of a post-Corona party.
The brewery is planning an almighty hooley at the brewery and everyone who orders Mescan beer from the company’s online shop during the crisis period will find their name on the guest list.
“These are tough times but we want to help people stay positive and look to the future so that’s why we’re going to host a post-Corona party for anyone who orders from us online,” explained Cillian Ó Móráin of Mescan Brewery, “Everyone is spending much more time at home at the moment, and there’s nothing like a beer or two to relax with in the evening.”
The Mescan beer cheer will be delivered by courier to your home or for anyone living nearby, safe collection at the brewery gate will also be facilitated by prior arrangement.
Mescan Brewery is named for the monk Mescan who was St. Patrick’s friend and personal brewer. Mescan produce artisan Belgian-style beers brewed in small batches with craft, care and attention to detail. The water for Mescan beers comes from deep underneath Croagh Patrick via a spring beside the brewery.
