Aldi’s range of Irish produced beers have won a number of medals at the recent World Beer Awards, adding to the list of awards the retailer has already picked up this year.
The World Beer Awards select the best of internationally recognised styles, awarding and promoting the world’s best beers to consumers and trade across the globe.
Aldi’s Brown Bear Range of IPA and IPL beers, made by the Pearse Lyons Brewery, was awarded Silver for the Brown Bear Double IPA (€1.95/500ml) and Bronze for the Brown Bear IPL (€1.95/500ml).
From the same brewery, The Roadworks Range was awarded three titles, receiving Silver for Roadworks Pale Ale (€1.95/500ml), Silver for Roadworks IPA (€1.95/500ml) and Bronze for Roadworks West Coast IPA (€1.95/500ml).
The O’Shea’s Range from the Carlow Brewing Company was awarded Silver for the To Helles and Back Lager (€1.79/500ml) and Bronze for the Trick of Light Session IPA (€1.95/500ml) and Pale New Dawn Pale Ale (€1.79/500ml). The range was also awarded the Bronze Award for Best Bottle Range Design.

These latest titles add to the award winning beers, wines and spirits range at Aldi, which includes Boyle’s Irish Gin and Boyle’s Raspberry Blush Gin (Gold at The Global Gin Masters 2020), Ardfallen Whiskey (Gold at World Spirit Awards 2020), Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC Fratelli Martini (Gold at The Global Prosecco Masters 2020) and more.
