Following an autumn stopoff in Ballina, Co. Mayo, the long-running music, arts and music festival Other Voices, is returning to its home in Dingle, Co. Kerry, this coming November 30th.
Events taking place across the weekend include the Hennessy Other Voices Music Trail featuring more than 35 artists in 12 venues, the culture series Ireland’s Edge at the Dingle Skellig Hotel, and a host of food and drink offerings.
Dingle is home to a number of Michelin recommended eateries including Out of the Blue, usually closed this time of year but opening for the first time ever for Others Voices. The Dingle Cookery School will be offering street food vendors across the weekend, from hog rolls to fish & chips. Well known Dingle cafés such as Bean in Dingle and My Boy Blue will be running specials all weekend, while producers such as Dick Mick’s Brewery and Dingle Distillery will be running tasting tours and events over the weekend.
The Other Voices Retail Trail is back for another weekend of Christmas discounts – flash an Other Voices wristband and enjoy discounts at retailers such as The Coach House, Crinkle, The Little Cheese Shop and more.
Other Voices Dingle 2018 takes place from Friday November 30th to Sunday December 2nd. Registration is €30 plus booking fee, at www.eventbrite.ie.
Other Voices Dingle 2018 is made possible with the support and partnership of RTÉ, Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Kerry County Council, Hennessy, IMRO and Fáilte Ireland.
