H&G Creations has announced a unique staff party this Christmas, taking place in Orlagh Country House, Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin on 5th, 6th, and 7th December.
Called Phantasmagoria, the BYOB event will include a three course vegetarian meal by Slice, the Stoneybatter-based sister café to Cake Café on Camden Street. The immersive decor will be complimented by interactive performances, and the whole event will be curated to reduce food waste.
“Christmas can be quite a wasteful time of year, lots of packaging and senseless spending so we wanted to create an event that flips that idea on its head. This is a purely vegetarian dining experience to make the event more sustainable. Plus all the food will be locally sourced and all decor will be created by our event stylists using recycled goods,” said Deirdre Young of H&G Creations.
Previously H&C Creations has run the Christmas dining experience at No. 12, Henrietta St. Dublin 1. The idea is to maximise use of spaces that might otherwise be left vacant.
“It’s not just a Christmas party, it’s a journey within the setting of a Georgian mansion built in 1790 where time stands still,” said Sinead.
“Whilst winding down and re-connecting with loved ones, Spooky Beuor will tell the tale of the spirits of Dublin descending upon these very grounds [Orlagh House] they call home leading to centuries of festive jubilance to descend upon the house.”
