A Cross Country Irish Food & Drink Tour

Two of the best things, great food and tasty drinks are combining in a unique cross country tour this September. Beginning in the east on Saturday 3rd September, this two date gastronomic tour will kick off in Dublin with the Tapas Trail Dublin. Enjoy the casual ambience of some of Dublin’s well known and hidden gems.

The journey begins with a lunch on the Tapas Trail Dublin guided by Paul, taking in three restaurants, where the tour will sample their tapas dishes accompanied by a glass of wine in every stop.

Then it’s onto the west, taking a bus right into the heart of Connemara to take in the scenery and atmosphere while stopping off at a number of the region’s best pubs. Guided by Padraic from Connemara Pub Tours, you will sample some locally produced craft beer or pints of Guinness, Irish coffees or whatever takes your fancy.

That evening, it’s into Galway city. The following morning is all about the Galway Food Tour. This is a two hour culinary walking tour of Galway. During the tour you will meet artisan producers and sample their products with experienced guide, Sheena Dignam giving an insight to local favourites and all the ingredients.

As you move along the city streets, you will sample fresh sushi, cheese, Galway oysters, breads and savoury bites as well as sweet treats while soaking up the atmosphere.
