3rd Annual Gin & Tonic Fest Launched

Gin & Tonic Fest 2018

The third annial Irish Gin & Tonic Fest has been launched, along with the full list of the 26 Irish gins that are taking part in the week long event.

Since launching the festival in 2016, many of the venues that have been involved have seen huge uptakes in Irish gins. Organised by Great Irish Beverages, this year's event is taking place from June 23rd - 30th and registration is now open for any venue on the island of Ireland that wishes to take part.

Those interested in participating just have to fill in their details on the Great Irish Beverages website and select one of the Irish gins they'd like to champion for the week of the festival. The venue will get its own page on the site and will be geographically listed so that everyone can see where they are. When the festival starts on June 23rd, the public will be able to vote for their favourite #IrishGnT on Twitter, Instagram or by posting on the Great Irish Beverages Facebook page.

There will be a number of different events taking place hosted by all the brands that include tastings, tours and food pairings. On the first day of the festival, there will be two opening parties on in Urban Brewing where for €15, each ticket holder will be able to enjoy an all Irish Gin & Tonic and sample dozens of Irish gins from all around Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Gins taking part in the festival include Black's Gin, Dingle Gin, Kinsale Gin, Micil Irish Gin and Silver Spear Gin.

Confirmed venues so far include the Camden exchange in Dublin, JJ Copinger's in Cork, and The Broken Jug in Mayo.

In addition to all the Irish Gins, Poacher’s Premium Irish Mixers are on board with their three naturally made, low sugar tonic waters that feature Irish herbs and flowers.
