Kitchen Extraction Ventilation Compliance and Safety

Airways Canopy & Duct Cleaning Service is Ireland’s leading extraction and ventilation cleaning company, specialising in the maintenance and cleaning of ventilation and kitchen extraction systems throughout Ireland and the UK.

With almost three decades of experience working with all types of ventilation and extraction systems, the company services a vast range of businesses in the catering and hospitality sector.

With three sales managers, covering the entire country, Airways offers a free site visit to give a tailored service to each customer.

The Ulster region is covered by Seamus Campbell who has five years’ experience in the sector. Leinster and Connaught are serviced by Wayne Gaynor, who is in the business eight years, and John McGeogh with over twenty years’ experience tends to the Munster area.

“We’ll do a free site visit, with no pricing over the phone as every system is completely different, and then do a quotation,” explained Managing Director, Damien Waddick. “We can go in early in the morning or evening, or whatever suits the customers – we are very flexible.”

So why would a business use Airways? “We are probably the leading company in the country in this field offering the highest standard of service available,” said Damien. The personalised survey prior to commencing work and the flexibility that Airways offers its customers ensures a high-quality service every time.

The lowest price is not always the best price,” said Damien, when discussing value for money. “We supply a full post clean photo report and hygiene certificate, the system is cleaned to a high standard and compliant with TR19 and insurance companies specifications, All service cleans are carried out by experienced, qualified and  insured technicians.

Airways has been successful in marketing itself through a wide variety of means such as customer recommendations, customer retention, advertising on Google and Facebook, and its membership of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, but recently the business struck up an advertising relationship with Food for Thought – FFT.ie.

“We found this a very easy process.  They have a very flexible attitude and worked hard to match our budget with our expectations,” said Sales Manager Seamus Campbell.

“They have an understanding of our service which was invaluable when designing our ads and targeting our campaign. It’s reassuring to know that our budget is being focused on our main client profile, the catering and hospitality sectors, and is beginning to show returns from the Food for Thought – FFT.ie readership.”
