CBRE Hotels has confirmed instructions to place The Millrace Hotel in Bunclody Co. Wexford for sale on the market, with a guide price of €2m.
The Millrace Hotel is a purpose built, contemporary style 60 bedroom hotel constructed in 2004. The property is situated in Bunclody and opposite the entrance to the Jeff Howes designed Bunclody Golf Club.
The hotel is a four storey building which features a ground to roof semi-circular glazed wall facing the Carlow to Enniscorthy Road. The hotel comprises 60 guest bedrooms located over the upper three floors, and many of the rooms have recently been refurbished. Included are 30 interconnecting rooms suitable for family occupancy.
At ground floor level is the hotel reception, the Mill Bar and Bistro, and a conference/function room for up to 200 guests.
As well, on the second floor is the recently refurbished Dannu Spa which interlinks with the leisure club and 18m pool, gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
Located on the top floor of the hotel is a rooftop restaurant with balcony and views over the surrounding countryside.
Outside the hotel includes car parking for approximately 50 cars with over flow car parking to the rear for an additional 70/80 cars.
