The deadline for super early bird tickets for Food on the Edge 2018 has been extended and will now close on 31st January, organisers have confirmed.
Food on the Edge 2017 sold out in advance and was the biggest event in the show’s three year history. As well as the super early bird deadline being pushed back by a month, the price has been reduced – the two day ticket now costs €250 which includes access to all speaker talks, lunches, evening entertainment and the wrap party. The special rate is available until 31st January when the ticket price goes to €325.
Symposium Director JP McMahon said: “The support for Food On The Edge gets stronger each year. We were fortunate to have secured some wonderful partners who will also lend their support for next year and this has meant we can reduce the price of the ticket. Our goal is to make the event as accessible as possible to all who are interested in attending. We hope that the output of what is learnt and put into practice after attending Food On The Edge outweighs the investment in the ticket price. So far, the resounding feedback is that it does.”
The dates for Food On The Edge 2018 are the 22nd and 23rd of October, and the Galway city venue is to be confirmed.
The World’s Best Female Chef 2016 and star of the Chef’s Table Netflix series, Ana Rôs, of Hisa Franko restaurant in Slovenia, will return to speak once more at next year’s symposium. Speaking about her intention to return for 2018 Ana said: “Food On The Edge is the most inspiring event I have ever attended.”
