Rosslare Pub on Market for €1.2m

Tides Gastro Pub, situated in the centre of Rosslare just beside the coastline, has been put for sale on the instructions of owner Stephen Hunt.

Hunt is best known as a former Republic of Ireland international and Premier League soccer star. He acquired, refurbished and reopened in the pub in June 2014 and has since developed a significant food and drink business since. The sale is intended to allow Hunt to better focus on a number of his commercial interests in the UK.

The sale is being handled by joint agents CBRE and Wexford-based Kehoe & Associates.

The premises is a well-appointed two storey licensed premises on a highly visible corner trading position, with views over the coastline. The inside is fitted out in a contemporary New England/Cape Cod nautical style with neutral colour schemes and wicker furniture.

The accommodation comprises ground floor bar, restaurant, catering kitchen and customer toilets extending to c. 264 sq.m. (2,840 sq.ft.). In addition, there is an extensive outside courtyard with tables and chairs and a separate rear yard. There is a large keg and bottle store adjoining the bar area with delivery access from the main road. On the first floor there is a preparation catering kitchen, office, store and staff facilities extending to approximately 109 sq.m. (1,173 sq.ft.).
