Breakfast Bites: Food Allergen Labelling

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI)’s latest Breakfast Bites morning event will focus on food allergen labelling, and what operators need to know.

Breakfast Bites is a series of free, informal breakfast meetings for food businesses. These events are aimed at those working in or who own a small food business, and also for those who want to get a new food business off the ground.

Pat O’Mahony (FSAI) will discuss legal requirements regarding declaring food allergens in non-prepacked food. Marita Porter (FSAI) will outline the results of a recent audit of food businesses with respect to how they provide written food allergen information to consumers. Marita & Pat will be available to answer questions at the end of their presentations.
